iffley road.

so why iffley road?? well... that's sort of where i started to really become who i am today! here's how it goes:

my husband and i (i call him secret, so we'll just call him that), got married on saturday, april 16th, 2011. the day after we got hitched, we hopped a plane to oxford, england! secret was going to school there and had a couple months to finish up, so as a young, freshly married, head over heels, swooning couple, we moved into to 208 iffley road.

here it is!! isn't it just the CUTEST place ever!!? yes, the yard is run over (the english don't really put much effort into their yards...), but was just the most charming place! you can imagine my delight as my newly wed husband brought me here... i was just all giggles!

the english also don't really believe in dryers... so was what we saw when we looked out our back window.

and this is a look down iffley road.

so as you can imagine, this was a great place to start our marriage AND the beginning of  a "more cultured Amanda"! everyday i'd walk down this road to do my daily [whatevers] and think "gosh, this is so beautiful!! i never wanna leave!" eventually we did, BUT i learned A LOT about myself there and i discovered that i wanted to do more with my life.

so i think "208 iffley road" is a perfect name for this blog! if you ever have a chance to visit oxford, go visit 208 iffley! you won't reget it:D
