BUT.
2 weeks down.
NO!
how did it go by so fast?!
am i the only person in the entire world who doesn't mind getting up every 2 1/2 hours, changing 15+ diapers a day, and being confined to the couch while i feed a little one??
probably.
but seriously, please, time, slow DOWN.
this little one is totally killing me with cuteness. she may not look anything like me, but this picture is proof that she's 50% mine! when i was a kid i used to suck on these two fingers, it was a really bad habit and my parents worked really hard to get me to stop! although it's super cute that {R} found her fingers all on her own, i fear it will continue!
>> someone loves when papa comes home!! notice how in many of these pictures she's sans clothing. it's just getting toooo hot here! and plus, who doesn't want to hang out in their diaper?!
>> i love this photo because it shows her favorite nap position! i'm convinced she loves it so much because she can hear my heartbeat and it's very soothing to her.
>> SMILE SERIES:

>> sportin her first headband! nailed it.
>> we went on a couple walks this week after dad got home from work and this was the first time {R} has been conscious while walking in central park. i know she couldn't see anything, but she was very interested in the sounds and colors! it was super cute!
>> check it out, girl! can you believe you were born in this big apple?!
>> on this particular morning i felt like i belonged in a "60's Housewife" ad. this sweet little one was kind enough to give me just enough time to get my rollers in. #keepinitclassy #firsthashtaginablogpost
>> this is what i looked down to this morning. once again listening to mommy's heartbeat. i'm melting.
p.s. ATTENTION breastfeeding mommies: stay away from the broccoli. seriously. i ate some broccoli this week not even thinking and we had to open the windows because {R} was tooting so much. yeah, baby toots are super cute... but you can only handle them for so long.

So glad that you are loving motherhood. I was looking at newborn pictures of E the other day and it feels like it was yesterday. How can you soak up those moments enough?
ReplyDeleteShe is seriously so adorable! Grandchild #3 is due in November and I can't wait to have another newborn around. I'm glad you likes the outfits....please send pics of her in each one as she grows into them.
ReplyDeleteGrandchild #3!? How wonderful!! From which wonderful set of parents is he/she coming from! That will be so wonderful! The things you sent Remie are seriously so cute. I cannot wait for her to wear them! We even have a little baret for her... so you can imagine how crazy French she'll look;) thanks again! xoxo
