The Final Countdown

i suggest this song because (i'm not even joking) every time someone asks how far a long i am… this song plays in my head and gets stuck there until the next time someone asks me.

her size: 5 lbs. doctor predicted that if i go the full 40 weeks she'll be a NINE POUNDER. do you know what i said to that? nope. my size: thankfully i've had enough energy to get me to the gym 4-5 days a week for the past little while and now weight gained is just baby growing. i'm feeling good! her movements: "everyday i'm shuffling'". we've started a little game: she puts her hand out (i know it's a hand because it's a very small [but strong] bump) and i rub her hand, then she'll pull it away. seconds later, it comes back and i'll rub until she pulls it away. earlier this week it went on for like 30 min. things i'm looking forward to: BEING DONE. AND putting her in the cute little clothes we have for her. this week: purchasing the stroller (YIKES). we went to do it last weekend, but chickened out. what i love: special treatment :) i know i'm exploiting her, but i just LOVE getting seats on the subway and being escorted to the front of the line at the grocery store. soak it up ladies! this doesn't happen everyday.

this week i was walking around town and a doorman (complete stranger) said: hey, you look like you're about to pop!

k, thanks….

2 days later, walking past the SAME doorman: you still look like you're going to pop!

NO JOKE, MAN! DID YOU THINK IT WAS GOING TO GET SMALLER? sweet, sweet innocence. 

on a lighter note: thank you to all of my readers and friends who have sent over so much encouragement and love! we feel so blessed! before we know it, this blog will be full of pictures of our new arrival and we are super excited to share her with you! thanks again :)
