it's okay to dress up sometimes.

what's up peeps???! i've been sitting here in this chair for 5 hours, typing a history paper and my bum is SOOOOORRRREEEE. so instead of getting up to run around or stretch it out, i though "blog time". boom. and here we are.

this week i've been busy getting ready for a big church event i'm throwing sunday night (STRESSED) and writing papers galore. the problem with being on a quarter system is that everything happens so fast! but we did have the time last weekend to pop over to the east bay to see a horse race with some friends! this is what we wore...

 

and everyone else was dressed like the people you see at walmart. so yeah, we overdressed. isn't secret a darling?

 

but so were the people we went with, so it was fun to be over dressed together!

so today, i wanted to spot light some outfits that i saw in <elle> this week. i'm really getting into cute dressy clothes and i'm grateful to have a chance to wear them once a week at church. i love these because the outfits aren't tooooo dressy, or toooo casual. there's a fine line, my friend, a fine line. cross it and well... that's for you to find out.

holy structure. do we love structure or what?? i cannot tell what's going on on her feet right now, but from the knees up, i'm loving it. you get 'em girl.
