over in my neck of the woods (phrase used correctly) there are like billions of wild animals running around. it's like i live in the movie snow white. charmed! anyway, this week i was driving down and road and had to slow down because....
can you see that i'm a little perplexed/worried? this one seems to be the pack leader and is getting really close to the car! and they are not small. quite the opposite actually!
then as i started pulling away the pack leader started running after me and looking like he was going to peck the car! it was all fun and games till i got my eye potentially pecked out!
then i really started driving and he was like sprinting after me and at that point i was just freaked out, stopped taking pictures and just focused on getting away from that psycho turkey!
{more importantly} but i wanted to get back on track with the 8 things every girl needs! this week i wanted to highlight the thing i'm getting compliments on the most....

trench: last season h&m. plain white tee: nordstroms rack. jeans: f21. flats: gap.
i wear this almost everyday and almost everyday i get compliments! one day a girl even asked me if it was burberry... (oh darling, i'm flattered, but there is not an inch of burburry plaid on here. anywhere...)
i LOVE this trench because it goes with so much! it can instantly class up any outfit and looks great over just jeans and a t-shirt. i have a black one, but this is my first choice!

i just wanted to highlight the lipstick i was wearing here... it's niagara from {nars} and i love it! it's not BOLD coral, its subtle and dainty. i've found it could be classified as non-seasonal (doesn't have a particular season because it's... annual... yes.)
this is a SUPER easy school outfit to put together! comfy yet chic.
