castello di amrosa winery that we stopped at.
the castle is not an original structure- pretty sure it's been added fairly recently for tourist appeal. we fell right into it. (darn! you got us!)
we stopped at "californias old faithful" (because, you know, it's just one of those things you have to do [a.k.a. a tourist trap]) and secret was VERY skeptical about the entire set up. he has never even been to the REAL old faithful, so i don't know why he wasn't curious about these natural water explosions (i thought boys were supposed to be into that kinda thing...) but it was the geyser and a petting zoo (put up a sign that says "petting zoo" and i'm there with money in hand).
before the geyser, "hmmm. i don't know about this..."
"WHOA!!! this is BLOWING my mind!!! (pun intended) i LOVE geysers!!!"
my favorite goat! (dear neighboring farmers, sorry i picked your corn. it was for the goats, so i'm sure you understand.)
last stop was this house which was owned by secrets great-cousin back in the 80's and 90's. it was originally just a warehouse, then they turned it into a home and now it's a winery! loved being able to stop by and see the place we've only heard about!
our time here is running short!! secret graduates from school next week and our move date is july 1st (where we going, you ask??? we have NO idea... hhahahahahha good luck with that). so we're trying to squeeze in as many day trips as possible!! i'm a big advocate for using time wisely, and i think that's a pretty good use of time:)
until next week!!

You were so close to my parents house! That castle is where we took our family pictures during Christmas. It was gorgeous to say the least
