* SIGNS OF SPRING *
my go to albums when walking in the park! they are both so full of exuberance that it guarantees an uplifting mood and a definite spring (pun intended, hahaha) in your step!
NYC is famous for a lot of things, but everyone has heard of new york bagels, right?? we decided to trek down to chelsea to this charming bagel shop! the feel was so fun and the bagels were delicious! the only downside (in my eyes), they don't toast the bagels! like, it's not their thing? (it's everyone's thing..) they refuse to do it. which is sort of a bummer because i love warm bagels! their sun dried tomato and garlic cream cheese is… amazing…..
in the same neighborhood there is an old abandoned railroad track that has been turned into a "green walk-way". going on a saturday was a bad idea because there are just hordes of lolligaggers… but that's okay, they were just stopping to take it all in.
we then found ourselves at chelsea market, which is a super cool find! we love places like this! it's an old factory (OREO factory to be precise) that has been turned into a marketplace. there are quirky little stores and mom and pop bakeries along with some impeccable food vendors. we were on the hunt for something REAL cheap (hahaha, good luck with that…) and surprisingly… we found it! this group of guys makes it their job to hunt down the best eats in the NYC area and they listed this place los tacos.
^^^ it was delicious to say the least: the plate was set before us and after inhaling 2 chicken tacos, i quickly shot this picture, because moments later these steak tacos were GONE. secret just nodding his head while chewing (sign of approval and satisfaction). and of course he washed it down with ice cold horchata- which is his MOST FAVORITE drink of all time. so lucky us:)
it was just such a delightful week here in NYC and i wish i could've shared it with all our friends and family! but alas, these pictures will have to do! i share these adventures because i want to:
a- lure you to the city to come and visit us.
b- keep all our friends and family in the loop. it's so hard to catch up with everyone when you don't know what's been going on for months.
c- document these fun memories!
thanks to all who read this blog! i know who you are and it's really fun to hear your comments and keep in touch through this! have a great week!

I want to come join your adventures!! Seriously, sometimes I wish I could live in the big city for a while and enjoy and the fun things to do. So fun, thanks for letting me take a small adventure in my head with you.
