^^ high & low >>

first of all, i would be selfish and ignorant if i didn't send out thoughts and prayers to those in boston right now. there is lots going on (at this very moment) and we can only hope that it will end as best as it can and those effected will feel comfort and hope.

the tradition of stating your "high of the day and the low of the day" started when i was a teenager. i have always really enjoyed hearing others highs and lows and also reflecting back on my own highs and lows... i enjoyed it so much, that we even do it at our own dinner table now!

this week went by so fast, and as i was thinking about my post for today, i thought a good old high and low session would be nice! if i'm going to share mine though, i expect to hear some others as well! so be thinking!

[HIGHS]

KEEP TRYING, BE BELIEVING, BE HAPPY. DON'T GET DISCOURAGED, EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT. - PRESIDENT GORDON B. HINCKLEY i set this as my phone background to remind me not to get worried about where we're gonna be living in 3 months. i'm a super planner and love to have every little detail planned, so to not know where we're going to be in july really scares me.

ROSES. i woke up on april 16th to 2 dozen roses on my nightstand. 2 dozen for 2 years!! that's how long we've been married! where on earth are we going to put all those roses in 25 years????

TURMERIC. you know me and my crazy health habits. i'm pretty much an addict to anything that claims to make me "live longer" or "look younger"*. so when i read about turmeric i immediately ordered some and it's now implemented into our daily pill pop..::**
it's an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant; helps the prevention of alzheimer's; enhances memory capability; speeds up metabolism and prevents rapid weight gain... so no need to tell me twice! how many????

** speaking of looking younger: yesterday this 18 year old in the bathroom at school said "you look younger today..."
"hmmm, well thanks i guess"
"yeah, you look like a little girl."
great. thanks girl, for that compliment? i've always wanted to look like a little girl?

DoTERRA. i've had acne since puberty. and i'm not joking when i say i've tried everything! from birth control, to topical creams, to acutane to more topical creams and more antibiotics. my brother is using this doterra face wash and topical cream, and i loved the idea of using essential oils to lift my acne curse. so i ordered it. and-LET-me-TELL-you. within 24 hours of using it, the little blemishes around my mouth had significantly calmed down (today they're gone; been using for 4 days). i am now only using little dabs of concealer vs. covering my face in foundation. it's BRILLIANT!

[LOWS]

everyone is like "don't worry about it, you'll figure it out!" yeah man, i will... but i'm eager beaver over here and really want to start apartment hunting in one of these three places! i never procrastinate anything, and so to only have a month to pick out a place to live in for the next 5 years... why don't you just put me in a glass box surrounded by baby lambs and kale (that is ultimate torture for me;).

hopefully in the next 2 weeks we'll have something figured out, but for now: humor me. [[[OR BETTER YET: if you've lived in either of these cities -SF, SLC or NY- message me! i want to talk to you!]]]

so peeps! i'm runnin off! i'm taking secret on a surprise anniversary trip tomorrow and i've got to get prepared!

i want to hear your highs and lows so message me, or write on my facebook! can't wait to hear from you:)
